It was an awesome Vaughan Family Movie. Richard said I was the co-star, and all of us played a part. That movie is over now because the director is gone. It is now up to each of us to live and enjoy new movies. We have been shown the way.
My part will be the Last Chapter of my life. No one could ask for better support. I am so grateful.
In fact, in Matthew Kelly’s latest book: The Fourth Quarter of your Life, he says at my age I am in “Bonus Time”!
The first picture was taken June 2005 outside the Cornucopia Restaurant at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. Charlie and Elsie Marsh were Amway’s first Crown Ambassadors. They had an amazing 33 Platinum legs! Pat and I were 7 downline in one of those legs, thru: Bill & Jan Campbell, Dan & Bunny Williams, Dick & Madeline Korn, Pat & Liz Shay, Craig & Sandy Kintzel, and Dave & Phyllis Quick. Marsh was 6 downline from Rich & Jay thru Walter Bass, Bernice Hansen, Joe & Helene Victor, Jerry & Eileen Dutt, and Ted & Kay Elias. Rich & Jay have one upline, Neal & Charlotte Maascant.
Pat and I registered as distributors in November 1969. My line of sponsorship after all these decades now consists of just one of those original people – Dave Quick, the guy who called me up and sponsored us. Besides Dave, all the other upline circles are still operating and going strong – proving the legacy possibilities of this business. Jon & Dee Marsh are shown below plus their daughter Elise & her husband Michael. I keep marching, with fond memories plus love and respect for everyone. This business fact continues true: You are in business for yourself, but never by yourself!
